    I can say without hesitation that this is simply the best spinning reel I have used. I have used the CI4 and now the Vanford for the last 8 years and they are monsters. I fish in shore salt water and although they are not built for this they hold up and last for years. I regularly catch 25 - 30 lb redfish and the reel handles that stress just fine. My love of the reel is not only based on its performance but also the lightweight construction. It perfectly balances with the rods I choose. Given that on any day I will make hundreds of casts the weight savings and the balance add up. Just a great product.
