The Okuma X-Series Spinning Reel combines a rigid aluminum body with advanced corrosion-resistant components for smooth, long-lasting performance in freshwater and inshore environments. A C-40X carbon-injected rotor and sideplate help reduce weight while maintaining structural strength, and the CNC-machined AL70 aluminum drive gear pairs with a hard-anodized aluminum spool shaft for solid torque under pressure. The sealed Hydro Block body and drag system, along with the absence of an anti-reverse switch, prevent water intrusion and reduce failure points. With 10+1 stainless steel bearings, Cyclonic Flow Rotor technology, and a computer-balanced RESII system, the X-Series delivers fluid retrieves, tight line lay, and cast-after-cast consistency.
