The Shimano Sedona FJ Spinning Reel is truly a remarkable piece of equipment. With its impressive HAGANE Gear technology, this redesigned reel stands out from others in its class. Its durability and long-lasting smoothness are unmatched, even after countless battles with your target species. What's more, Shimano's SilentDrive technology reduces unnecessary noise and vibration, making for a quieter and smoother reeling experience.

The enhanced spool design featuring Shimano's Propulsion Line Management System also increases casting distance and overall performance. Furthermore, G-Free Body technology shifts the reel's center of gravity closer to the rod, providing better balance and less fatigue during long days on the water. All in all, the Shimano Sedona FJ Spinning Reel is a great investment if you want a top-performing, durable, and balanced spinning reel.

• HAGANE Gear
  • The HAGANE Gear is at the heart of the reel for long-lasting smoothness. No cutting work is applied to the teeth of the drive gear. Instead, the entire surface is calculated in minute detail by a special 3D design and then formed by Shimano's cold-forging technology. The result is assured durability. The strength and power of forged metal continue to represent the fundamental concept of Shimano reels.
• Silent Drive
  • From the fundamental, whole-body design to the most intricate parts of the drive train, including the drive gear, wormshaft, wormshaft pin, and wormshaft gear, every piece has been carefully reviewed, and the smallest clearance gaps and wobbles have been eliminated to the highest tolerances.
• Propulsion Line Management System
  • The Propulsion spool lip design is the most obvious component of the Propulsion Line Management System. Through tens of thousands of casting tests and computer simulations, this spool lip design provides longer casting distances than a standard spool lip design while preventing backlashes and wind knots.
• G Free Body
  • G Free Body technology moves the center of gravity closer to the angler's hand position. The G Free Body shifts the reel's center of gravity closer to the rod, helping to reduce fatigue and enhance casting comfort.
