The lure has nice weight on it. I cast this lure from shore and it goes pretty far. I caught four 5lbs. stocked trout on opening day. I was using 4lbs fluoro and lost two of the lures when the trout got close to shore. I think it's the way it rubs on the line. Changing to 8lbs. test there were no longer any problems.

I've used the 7 gram lures in the past and been looking for the 13.5 gram sizes for trolling, I found them on Fishusa and received them in 2 days. I would love to see them carry more lures that are made in Australia, like the Tillins Ashley spinners, Wigstons inline spinners with the kite shaped blades,they seem to be onto something with their lure selections.

05/02/2021 Just finished a day full of limits of 16-20 inch rainbows. Nothing was working the first 4 hours. A couple of hook-ups but no fish. Broke out a PINKY 1/4oz Tasmanian Devil and within 2 minutes of trolling had our first fish. Within 2 hours of fishing PINKY Tasmanians, we had our limits of trout. I have been trolling Tasmanian Devils for many years on lakes and rivers in Oregon and Washington with exceptional success.
