    I purchased the 12’6” MA rod. It balances great with my Okuma Raw 2. Fights fish very smoothly and feels very forgiving with manual drag of the pin reel. The tip does seem like it has a little drag on line closer but not when casted out or when fighting fish. Very smooth rod!!! Soft on leader. Handles fish great.

    I bought the 12'6" for steelhead fishing, and so far I'm very impressed with it. It balances nicely with any reel I put on it, it has a great action to it, plenty of power, and even with the 6-12# test rating, it will still protect lighter leader than what it's rated for. Overall, a great float rod!
