I used PENN reels for years. I decided to try SHIMANO. I first bought the SEDONA and then the SAHARA. Both these are very tuff spinning reels. As it is now I favor these reels as my first choice over PENN and OKUMA, which are excellent reels. I use braid line with a flora carbon leader. I join these with a "UNI TO UNI" not for a near unbreakable not for walleye trolling. I decide to do some shore fishing. Since mono line is better for casting, I found the SEDONA spool on FISH USA. I spooled it with good 6 LB mono. Thanks FISH USA. I will be buying the SAHARA spool as soon as I can. WC.

This spool doesn’t specify model. I have a Sedona FD which has a larger diameter shaft and won’t fit this spool.
