I keep an assortment of these in my pack, from 8 to 2/0, for fishing in the Keys. The small hooks are perfect for baitfishing and the larger work for everything up. I've landed big groupers and snappers on these hooks with no issues. They are small wire but very strong and they stay sharp.

I have been purchasing the same hooks for years. They are my go to for the fishing we do. I usually give it 5 stars but it seems they may have changed the metallurgy as they snap vs. bend/straighten now. It could be just me or a bad batch of hooks. I understand there is a balance of hardness vs. malleable. They are still my go to hooks regardless, very sharp.

I've used this hook in size 10 for years for trout.. I finally let my friends in on their secret and their, the friends, catch rate skyrocketed. The fine wire allows a very natural presentation and will out fish any other hook when fish are inactive and/or the water is crystal clear.

These hooks are my favorite for steelhead!!! I use the size 4 in my glo bug patterns. The sharp, fine point penetrates while the geometry provides excellent holding. I have utmost confidence in them!
