The Okuma Hakai Casting Reel gives bass anglers a lightweight yet durable reel that delivers smooth performance when flipping jigs, burning spinnerbaits, or working crankbaits. Its LiteCast magnesium frame with a corrosion-resistant coating and reinforced sideplates maximizes strength while keeping weight low. Inside, a 42mm oversized, hardened brass main gear works with a multi-disc, stainless steel and carbon hybrid drag system to handle heavy fish with confidence. Casting distance is pushed further with the super-tuned Flite Spool and the patented Flite Shaft, a hollow stainless steel main shaft. A universal line diameter indicator helps keep track of spooled line. An external magnetic cast control system, precision C-40X carbon injection star drag, and a 6BB + 1RB stainless steel bearing system add to its smooth, responsive performance on the water.
