The Crisium rod series includes a wide selection of line weights and lengths perfect for the beginning fly angler and seasoned pros alike. Lightweight, graphite blanks, titanium oxide stripper guides and hard chrome snake guides, comfortable cork handles and aluminum reel seats round out these fast action rods. All Okuma Crisium Fly Rods feature a half wells cork grip and come with a cloth rod bag.

    Apologies, apologies, apologies all around. Back in 2019 (I think)I gave a poor rating to an Okuma Crisium 8' - 6" 6 wt. rod. I stand by that critiqe. However, I also purchased an Okuma Crisium 7' -0" 3/4 wt. rod a couple of years later and I LOVE IT! It is a great little rod AND a tremendous value for the money. I use it exclusively for fishing tight little streams that are small in size and impacted by vegetation. As I stated in an earlier post, Buy This Rod!

    I took a shot on this rod because 8' 6" 6 wt rods are so hard to find. For the money this is a very handsome rod but as for handling it is much more a javelin then a fly rod. Unfortunately, this thing is a real tomato stake and I am sorry I purchased it.
