The Lew's Mach Crush Spinning Reel, just as its baitcasting relative, is loaded with features aimed to give you a lightweight reel you can cast for distance and is powerful enough to anchor the fight from larger fish. The Mach Crush is as smooth as melted butter due to an outstanding 11-bearing system (10 ball bearings and a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing). Further features include solid brass Speed Gears, a light, strong Carbon C40 Skeletal Speed Rotor with an aluminum bail wire, an aluminum frame and sideplate, and a sealed carbon multi-disc drag system to combat tenacious whales. The spinning reel contains a braid ready double anodized knurled aluminum spool and a durable stainless steel main shaft.
The Mach Crush winds line with an S-curve oscillation system set in motion by an aluminum handle topped by a Winn advanced polymer Dri-Tac handle knob for greater handle control. Additionally, you get Lew's Speed Lube to keep the inner workings operating as they should in all weather conditions. Great reel.
10 ball bearings for 99 bucks and the reel matches the color of my boat. So Im kinda fond of it. Basic and perfect. You dont need anything else besides this for a spinning reel.
