I head North(Wisconsin), every winter for a week or two, to do some ice fishing. This jig is the ole standby for Perch fishing. It doesn't do too shabby for walleye either. This jigging lure is a dye hard for perch in the summer months as well. That is what makes this jig so valuable. The reason that I had to buy quite a few this year is that Mr. Pike will bite on them as well. I usually can get them in without shredding the line but, without a steel leader, one will loose a couple lures to the bigger pike. I can't really use steel leaders when Perch fishing. Swedish Pimples are the Bomb! Just a great all around go to! Fish USA had these lures at a good price.
