This is a killer on sunfish and crappies. Was out 5/25/25 in MN and out fished my brother in-law (He used live Minnows). There was a few time were i brought in 7-8 fish before he would get one bit, fishing in the same spot. Did not miss hardly any bits with the #14 trebles. Love it!

I bought these with the intention of using them with a downrigger and chasing trout. They look good at 1.5mph and even better at 3mph…I’ve only tried them once and haven’t gotten bit but none of my minnow baits worked that day…but soft plastics sure did…lol That’s why we buy so many lures…to try something until we find what they want. I’m sure if a minnow bite was on these would have been money! Very sharp hooks and a high quality feel in my hand…I’ll buy more for sure!

The 1/8 once casts very nicely. It will sink at an excellent rate. Approx. one foot per second. Good bait for slow crawling along steep cliffs. If worked too fast it will twist your line. Slow cranking. The 1/4 can be worked a little faster and also sinks at a faster rate. The smaller one is deadly on crappie, hybrid bass , and spotted bass. Both sizes are fish catchers. Neither bait lasts long when thrown into a feeding school and does not need to be retrieved. One twitch and you are hit.
