The Striker Ice Men's Apex Jacket is lighter at only 80g, warmer, and more comfortable to wear than other ice fishing jackets. While other ice fishing apparel is reminiscent of something an astronaut would wear, the Striker Apex Jacket is not as bulky because Aerogel, an actual NASA-developed technology that is more than 95% air, is involved. The PrimaLoft Cross Core Insulation Series used in the jacket fuses existing PrimaLoft insulation with this superinsulation to produce an incredible thermal barrier to achieve unprecedented levels of lightweight warmth.
As in other Striker Ice apparel, the Apex Jacket safeguards you with Sureflote flotation assistance technology. Also, if you use a snow machine, sled or ATV to get to and from your ice holes, then the three-position adjustable hood keeps you protected from the frigid air.
