    Have two MLF2's that I bought for jigging for walleyes. Great rods. Great sensitivity for that light bite. I tend to get a fair amount of northerns when jigging as well & they've always handled them just fine as well. Also use them in bigger trout streams & they do great there too.

    I have 2 UL and 1 Lt action St.Croix's. For the money I feel they are the best rods you can get in that price range.

    this is a great rod for very light lures in stream fishing in Maine. You can cast further and it is very sensitive to fish strikes. It is as sensitive as a fly rod. Great rod.
