    I thought I ordered the two pieces rod but received a one piece rod. The website is not very clear. Do not look between the bold lines to choose your item number, you will choose the wrong one. I had to pay $80 to ship the rod back; that is half the cost of the rod. I don't think I will order from this site again unless it includes free shipping on return items. The rod is great. The return policy and web site are receiving the one star.

    I fish frequently for trout and this is the best rod I have owned. This is the second rod I own of this model and is excellent for casting metal lures of 1/6oz to 1/4oz as well as very small Ned rigs. Easily handles 1lb to 5lb+ trout.

    Just purchased my third Premier rod. Have the 6’ ultra light for stream fishing and the 7’ ultra light for shore fishing. Bought the 6’6” light action so I could throw quarter ounce lures. Casts like a dream. I don’t think you can find a better rod for the money, and made in USA. Awesome rods!
