Rapala X-Rap Countdown lures combine the attitude of the X-Rap with the consistent ability to fish any depth of the traditional countdown lures. These lures swim with a strong rolling action when retrieved or trolled, and flutter down on the pause. The flat sides create a hard flash when twitched during the retrieve. Rapala X-Rap Countdown Lures sink at a rate of one foot per second, allowing you to consistently target a given depth. Simply cast the lure out. Once it hits the water, begin counting.

Great action Casts a mile

Another hit from Rapala. First time I used it in spring caught 5 lake trout off shore at Cayuga Lake. They loved clown color. Rapala needs to release PEL color in US, had another large trout hit it and snap the line after a ten minute fight when it went under a dock
