My Ranger landing net is 28x28 and the 28x30 net fit my hoop. I needed a shallow net since I often fish be myself and have a bad arm. The shallow net makes landing salmon much easier for me.

Returned this net because it is not good for landing northern pike. The hooks from a lure gets caught in the material that seams the sides to the bottom and when the barb punctures that material, it is a problem, especially when dealing with 2 fish at once. My charters are mostly northern pike and they come ALIVE when they hit the net. Fishing northerns? Go with a musky sized rubber net (Stowmaster).

Easy installation on old frame. Haven’t gotten to use it yet but seems like it will be good.
