First impression power pro V2 onyx

by

We’ll I just used it for the first time and I liked it. It was smooth to cast with, had nice sensitivity, and It’s really easy to tie knots with. First impression was that it performed well and the onyx color looked so sick on my new penn battle 3.

Logistics

by

Ordered two spools and only got one. The other is on back order. Am put off by the fact that I didn’t get both. There must be a logistic issue that needs to be addressed.

Save your money!!

I had purchased many spools of Power Pro braided fishing line and I was very disappointed in the outcome in using it. do a lot of fishing with slip bobbers and just about every rod I had the Power Pro line on would end up getting tangled up with bobber and such then it is game over as you can't get it untangled you end up re-doing the whole rigging again. I bought all new line will not buy Power Pro again for my use. Needless to say I am not a happy camper with Power Pro fishing line..

Pretty smooth and slick line, casts well

by

This is a very smooth limp superbraid line. It slips through your rod's guides like greased lightning, so at least psychologically may provide you with confidence that you are getting the farthest casting distance possible. Most of your regular superbraid line knots will slip (due to this lines smooth finish) so some experimentation will be required to ensure you are secure. Somebody told me: 'if you don't know how to tie knots, tie lots' - this definitely applies here. Nevertheless, I've used several strengths on spinning reels and it worked fine.
