The Okuma Safyre Spinning Reel gives multispecies anglers a durable, smooth, and water-resistant option for freshwater or inshore saltwater applications. With oversized HDG+ high-density gearing supported by the Flite Drive and Gear Stabilizing System (GSS), the Safyre maintains precise alignment and torque transfer when fighting hard-pulling fish like redfish, snook, bass, or walleye. The 7BB + 1RB stainless steel bearing system and precision machine-cut brass pinion gear provide smooth cranking under pressure, while the Cyclonic Flow Rotor promotes drying and airflow to reduce corrosion and extend reel life.


A rigid machined aluminum screw-in handle connects directly to the drive gear for zero flex, giving you solid hook-setting leverage and control. The multi-disc Carbonite drag system sits behind a Hydro Block body seal that protects key internal components from water intrusion. Finished with a 2-tone anodized spool and machined aluminum construction, the Safyre packs long-lasting durability and performance into a lightweight, balanced reel body.
