i love this rod

I just spent three days surf casting for stripers with the Okuma Rockaway 12' 3/4 to 3 oz. surf rod paired up with an older Penn Z bearing reel with 30lb. braided. I was mostly chucking 2.5 oz. poppers and this rod sends them sailing out there just fine. Also tossed out some bait and a 3 oz. lead, no problem. Caught some stripers and a 37" dog fish and the rod never felt weak and I could feel every move the fish were making. It just has a good feel to it! Yes, I would buy another, you can't go wrong with the price. Fish on....

Ordered 2 rods on a Monday and received them on Wednesday.Way to go FishUSA.The rods arrived undamaged and upon inspection every thing looks ok. All guides and the rods are free of chips, scraps, nicks, excessive glue where used and generally speaking look very nice. Will try to review how the poles perform next spring.
