Wow less than 6 months of running them, I couldn't be more disappointed. Okuma dropped the ball hard on these reels. I purchased 4 last fall. And right out of the box the drags seems to never want to loosen up. Hoped it would get better, never did. Then this spring with very little use on them, as I would grab a rod out of the rod holder when a fish hit, the reel would skip the gears as if the button was pushed and backlash the reel so bad I would end up having to handline the fish in. Also 3 of the 4 reels, the brass insert on the line guide fell out, once cutting the line as it got wrapped around the spool. I contacted Okuma to see if I could upgrade to cold waters, and they offered no help, other than If I wanted to pay for shipping and return shipping so they could "fix" them. Hard to fix something that's not broken, just a poor product. Very disappointed.

Pretty Decent

4.5 stars. So far so good. Had a good night trolling for walleye and it performed beautifully. Nice drag adjustment loud clicker for the audible bites in the dark. Haven’t used the quick drop much yet but overall nice reel. Felt good in the hand bouncing harnesses. I like it better than my coldwater from okuma

Perfect reel for bouncing.

This is a great high quality reel. I have only used it one day but I am sold. It is the perfect reel for bottom bouncing for walleye. I will try it with cranks next time and use the line counter.
