    This trout net appears to be well built. It has a good feel to it. The carbon fiber frame is an advantage in weight. Looking forward to netting some large rainbows in the coming days!! If you’re new to wading in the creek, and landing fish while up to your hips a rubber basket is so much better in getting your lure unhooked. Good price for a quality net!!

    I ordered this net on sale and it is very very nice. it has a nice soft grip and the frame is carbon fiber and light. It has a large net area and deep with a rubber bag so hooks don't get tangled. My first day I used it, I ended up landing a 22 inch rainbow that weighed over 4 lbs. If I had my old smaller net, I most likely would have lost that big trout as this net is large enough for big fish but travels well. Only drawback is that it doesn't come with a leash just a small loop of cord going through the handle. So I order a coated metal coil leash for it to clip onto the back of my wading vest along with a strong net magnet so it carries the net high when walking and wading streams but can be pulled so the magnet breaks in half and releases the net onto the leash and allows easy access and that works great! Out of the way when fishing, wading, walking, but there in a snap when needed. Definitely a very high quality net, but it wasn't cheap. I got it on sale at almost half price so it was a great deal and was worth the price then.
