Dutch Fork Colorado Ghost Blades

Item No.: F11977

Dutch Fork Colorado Ghost Blades are completely see-through blades with high quality, custom painted colors. The transparent and semi-transparent designs allow these blades to change colors as they rotate around or over another object such as beads on a crawler harness. With Ghost Blades, you can change colors and shades in an instant simply by adding different color beads to your harness (sold separately).

Ghost Blades are constructed of a durable, high impact polymer that is half the weight of metal blades, have a lighter vibration than metal blades, and will not sink like metal blades. The plastic blades also rotate at much slower speeds than traditional spinner blades allowing you to keep the bait in front of fish longer and entice those larger fish that are more reluctant to bite.

  • Colorado shape
  • High impact polymer construction
  • Spins easily at very slow speeds
  • Transparent see-through design
  • Colors change at different angles
  • Edges glow like fiber optics (on fluorescent colors)
  • Works well on inactive fish
  • High quality paint and topcoat
  • Baked on finish
  • Qty. per pack: 3

Please note: Dutch Fork blades should not be left sitting in the sun in a Plano or other tackle box. The inside of tackle boxes reaches a very high temperature when left in the sun, and that temperature can melt your plastic blades.

Great for walleye harnesses!

by fisherlady2

These blade are simply great and effective for walleye. We fish Erie and troll these at speeds from 1.2 to 2.3 and get fish on them every trip we use them. The great variety of colors means you can match water and sky variations or baitfish imitations you prefer. We use the larger blades (#6 & #8) and the only drawback we have found is that they need a 'deeper' clevis to avoid the back edge of them from contacting your line and wearing it, and they don't fit many of the plastic quick change clevises (again because of the distance from the hole to the edge of the blade). They will work well with metal stirrup clevises and the Dutch Fork 'No Loss Quick Change Clevis' available through FishUSA is a perfect match for these blades.
