    Got the DXF, good looking rod, grip is nice, reel seat is great looking wood insert. Casts decent, but as a 4wt rod, feels like a stiff 6wt. Stiff rod, can't feel much through the rod.

    I use the 71164 for swinging flies on smaller Great Lakes tributaries. Rod is incredibly light and very powerful. Easily casts Scandi and Skagit heads. Is a joy to fish especially with the Argus Reels. Highly recommended for the steelhead fisherman.
