The Bonafide SS127 Bow Mount enhances the fishability of your SS127 kayak by providing a nice level surface for mounting aftermarket accessories. It's important to note upfront that the installation requires drilling holes into the fishing kayak, which does not void the Hull Warranty. The Bow Mount package includes all stainless steel hardware to mount the 3/4 inch thick plate to an SS127 Bonafide fishing kayak to customize its functionality.
If you wondered, the bow mount plate does not interfere with the boss strap and sits high enough off of the deck to act as a paddle park. After installation, you won't lose any features of the SS127 fishing kayak. Actually, you gain some as the Bow Mount also acts as a rod tip cover when storing rods on either side of your yak. Bonafide's Bow Mount is pre-drilled with three accessory patterns (Micro Power Pole, Motorguide quick release bracket, and the Motorguide 6 bolt pattern).
