J.T. Thompkins is one of our new members on our pro staff. He is a South Carolina angler and one of the youngest anglers on the Bassmaster elite series. JT has been on the water ever since he could remember, fishing his first tournaments with his father at just four years old. JT started his fishing ventures on his home waters at Winyah bay in South Carolina where he competed in many tournaments trails with is father, Timmy Thompkins. He then took his next steps traveling as a co-angler on the FLW Tour at 16 Years old, where he when he turned pro, notching two top tens his first year in a BFL and Toyota series. After that, it was onward to the Opens. Over the next 3 years he notched 16 top tens and 2 wins as well as securing a berth to the Elites and the Bassmaster Classic. We are happy to have him as a new member of the FishUSA family.
