The Storm Jointed ThunderStick JBJ delivers the classic wounded baitfish action that continues to produce strikes from walleye, bass, trout, pike, salmon, and steelhead across rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. A jointed body creates an exaggerated swimming motion that mimics struggling forage, making this hard bait especially effective during trolling passes and steady retrieves along shallow structure and weed edges. Built from the original ThunderStick molds, the JBJ runs 2 to 4 feet deep and covers water efficiently when targeting active fish feeding near the surface or along shallow breaklines. Premium VMC hooks provide strong hook penetration and dependable holding power during aggressive strikes and long fights.

  • Jointed body creates an amplified injured baitfish action that triggers reaction strikes from multiple gamefish species
  • Runs 2 to 4 feet deep for targeting shallow structure, weed lines, flats, and shoreline feeding zones
  • Original ThunderStick body profile produces proven trolling and casting performance in lakes and rivers
  • Premium VMC hooks deliver strong hooksets and reliable holding power during hard runs and head shakes
  • Quantity per pack: 1

Here in Virginia we do a load of night fishing in the summer. This bait (bleeding shad #1) is a sure thing when the shad are in the rip rap spawning. Just throw paralell to the rock shore line and slow roll it back and wait for the explosion to happen. I would recomend this to anyone who loves to catch big fish at night. This technique is so easy a beginner can do it with no issue. Just have to be willing to have some battle wounds on the trolling motor prop.
