Just back from trolling off my kayak on a local high country lake here in New Zealand. Recent very heavy rain made the lake discolored (normally very clear). Thought I'd try a Shad Dancer in Purpledescent given the conditions. Never tried a purple lure. Color options are limited to a few popular ones in NZ, but the range available at FishUSA show's how variety is taken seriously in the US. First take was a Rainbow of just under 6lb. So it's nice when a hunch pays off !

A great bait for largemouth bass on Bartlett Lake in Arizona. I typically troll a silver shad dancer and another lure out the back of my kayak and the shad dancer out fishes the other lure virtually every single time. I typically fish the 2 inch size in silver. Now hoping Rapala offers something between the 2 inch and 2 3/4 inch size since the 2 3/4 inch size is a tad big at over 1/2 ounce but something in between would be perfect.
