Work well so far but the more I use them I'm finding that those pins wear out kinda fast and have 1 that has developed a groove in it. My line keeps getting stuck in that groove in the pin making it hard to get the board off when bringing in a fish, I use them on the back of my boards. I've heard there's a company making this same release with a metal pin, I think I'll try those. I really like this type of release because they really are simple to use.

I use these clips with torpedo divers and other weights when fishing for chinook salmon in Lake Michigan. They're the only style and brand I trust and haven't let me down. I haven't even had to replace the pads after several years of use, although you can get replacement pads if you need them.
