    Broke on my first fish. It's was a 1lb sucker fish. I set the hook, reeled in 2 turns then "snap". Broke above the ferrule. This has never happened to me. In total this rod cost me $50 dollars more. $25 to ship to them and $25 warranty fee to get a new one back. Only used the rod 5 minutes before it snapped.

    terrible rod snapped in the tip section while casting after only a handful of uses lamiglas customer service not any better why have a warranty when you have to pay shipping both ways to get a new section they will only pick up when they think you want to buy something they lost a customer for life

    This rod is awesome! Absolutely perfect for big steelhead and long floats. But also easy to control for precise cast adjacent to timber or over hanging limbs. Would highly recommend this rod.

    Update on rod. Lamiglass took great care of me. They said it snapped due to oversanding on their part and shipped a brand new one. I have used it for the last 3.5 months all over wny and absolutley love the way i can control bigger fish.
