The HT Enterprises Ice Blue Super Flex Ice Fishing Rod features a corkalon handle and black rings. The blank is blue in color with dark blue guide wrappings and an orange colored tip. IB-48 rods feature 2 snake guides and standard aluminum oxide spinning guides. This rod has a sensitive spring bobber-like rod tip for those light biting fish.

    I've loved these rods for years. For the money, you won't find anything better. I love them for their sensitive tips and they fight panfish well. I also love that there are long versions for hole hopping and an 18" for sight fishing. Only knock is they are a noodle all the way through, they could use a little more backbone. And I wish the guides on the 48" were the same as what are on the smaller versions(bare metal instead of plastic lined)

    I really like this rod. It's well made and does the job I bought it for (ice fishing for smelts). I have no complaints. They are very lightweight and sensitive to any bites. A couple of weeks ago I bought two different little rods for ice fishing from a different company and paid only slightly less for them only to have one break before I even got to use it (they were poor quality and not at all what I was expecting). I can't say that about these rods. Count me as a pleased customer... in fact I have already ordered an additional two rods already.
