I like these boots a lot. Do well on slippery PA streams without any studs. Also comfortable to wear. Not real stiff like my old cabelas brand were. Only thing I had to do was buy longer laces. The ones that were with them were too short. Easy fix.
Good boot but shoddy rivets

I bought these boots for my husband. The sizing seemed to be off, we had to return the first pair and got another 2 sizes bigger than normal. However, return policy was easy and we got the replacements quickly. He was initially pleased with them, but when he went to lace them up the rivets for the loops pulled out of the material. You could see each rivet thickness and length was insufficient to crimp the eyelet securely in place. It did not take much strength when tightening the laces to pull them out of the material. He ended up re-riveting all the loops securely. It is a pity that the overall quality of the boot was marred by faulty finishing work of the eyelets.

This is my 2nd pair of Frogg Togg boots. 1st pair is in great shape and 5 yrs. old. Order 1 size larger than you need to make room for warmer socks. The shoe laces are too short and broke quick. Frogg Togg's boot's and hellbender waders are top quality and great on the pocket book.
Great shoe for the price!

Boots have been great on the rocky river bed. They're supportive and comfortable. They take awhile to dry, but I am trying different methods to dry them. I would absolutely buy these again.

I've never felt more comfortable and sure footed in a stream before. Outstanding!

Awesome boot for the price! Great stability for the ankles and very comfortable. I traversed easily through the rocks as compared to my comrades wearing other brand name boots(orvis).

Great boot so far

I've only tested these once - here on a rainbow trout stream in cold, cold water. The boot performed well, and footing/slip avoidance on our slippery rocks did it's job. The only con I had, is my own fault, as I didn't wear warm enough socks under my neoprene. Took a while to dry, but that doesn't bother me.

Have just used this boots once but they were comfortable and good on slippery rocks. Caught a 23 inch Brown on the Yampa River near Steamboat Springs. Maybe it was the boots?
Good reputation for quality

I originally bought these because I had such good luck with my Frogg Togg waders. They are made just as tough.

Sturdy Wading Shoes
by Steelhead Hooker -
I have used them for Steelhead fishing in the NorthWest rivers. They had great traction on river rocks , although they don't have the rubber grip areas the pics show. They aren't as roomy in the toe box area as my same size Caddis wading shoes. A size and a half bigger than my normal shoes was barely enough.
great boots seem to be durable

boots seem to be true to size buy a size bigger than your normal shoe size
Very surprised with felt boots .
Very surprised with felt boots .. never ever had them . normally I use a sticky rubber bottom boot with studs . and even with the studs I was slipping . so I talked to a few guys and they said felt was the way to go ,so I bought these boots since I have purchased the waders ,so when I got them I hit the river and they did not slip at all. .it was a very firm grip on some of the slipperiest rocks that I know if I had my sticky rubber boots i be slipping . so far after 4 outings they are holding up very well
