Product Details
The Down-East Rod Holder gives anglers rugged, all-metal rod support for trolling and bait fishing through cold mornings, rough weather, and demanding days on the water. Three models cover a broad range of freshwater and heavy-duty applications. The portable D-10 Standard uses a single clamp that opens to 2 inches and handles fish up to 25 pounds with line up to 30-pound test, making it a practical choice for walleye, trout, and similar species. The D-11 Inboard permanently mounts to a vertical or horizontal boat surface and includes the D-12 Inboard Mount and Extension Bracket for proper height on flat gunwales. Anglers can lift a rod straight from the D-10 or D-11 when a fish strikes without releasing clips or latches, though neither model suits muskie fishing. The S-10 Salty supports heavy fish up to 85 pounds and uses two removable C-clamps that open to 2 inches. High-strength, corrosion-resistant construction helps each model withstand extreme cold, spray, and repeated use.
