    Was looking for a rod with a little flex in the tip to cast Little Cleo spoons and Husky Jerks from shore for Steelhead and Walleye. It needed to be long, light weight, and still have the backbone to handle big fish. I also wanted something that was fairly inexpensive. This rod meets those needs perfectly.

    I bought this rod on sale for a great price. I have used it several times on the river for salmon float fishing. It handled a 28 lb salmon with no problem. I was using 15 lb flourocarbon leader and 30 lb braid. The light construction of this rod really makes for an incredible battle.
