    I've been fishing the 9' Daiwa Acculite medium since last fall and have caught lake trout up to 26" with this rod. It casts and retrieves as well as my St Croix salmon rods. This rod can't be beat at this pricepoint! I just ordered the 9' medium heavy.

    Great rod for the price. Fished with them several times now, sensitive, strong and easy casting. I have the 8'6" M and ML rods, and use them for fishing for walleye in the river. Haven't caught a walleye yet with them, but have caught white bass, kentucky bass, and a stripper.
