Character Lures Kraken dives with the hard-pulling action salmon and steelhead anglers expect when backtrolling plugs or flatlining through deep runs. Modeled after classic Heddon Tadpolly-style crankbaits, this east coast favorite features a wide, flat bill and deeply curved body that dig in and produce a tight, aggressive wobble that triggers reaction strikes from Chinook, coho, and chrome-bright steelhead. UV color schemes increase visibility while trolling dark, glacial water or stained flows, helping fish track the lure in low-light conditions. Built in 2 in. and 3 in. lengths and armed with a 1/0 single sickle Siwash hook, the Kraken delivers solid hookups while staying compliant in fisheries that require single hooks. Crafted by an Idaho-based custom lure designer known for standout paint schemes, this salmon and steelhead plug blends proven profile with bold, fish-catching finishes.

    I LOVE the color schemes that Character Lures use on their lures! They definitely have Character, hence the name :-) These Kraken and Loko lures are awesome lures and they probably remind you of other "old school" lures. They catch all salmonid types of fish (salmon and trout) and I have caught some bass species with them too. I also use their spoons too! Go to their website and order you some! I used to be on the National Hobie Kayak Fishing Team and have won some fishing tournaments in Idaho. These lures do great in the PNW (Pacific North West) I am sure they will do back in the Eastern States as well as the southern states :-)
