I use three of these eggs on a #6 or #8 hook with a weight 18 to 30 inches up the line, depending how deep the water is. I always limit out. Keep several colors on hand as trout can be picky at times about color. White, sunrise, chartreuse and pink are my favorites. I did notice that the ones I bought this year tend to tear up after 4 or 5 fish. Previous ones I have caught as many as 10 or 12 on the same eggs.... Still..the best.. would take these any day over the more expensive, fall apart, drying out 'Gulp Eggs' that don't catch as many fish...IMHO

very easy to use and it out fish any other bait 10 to 1. icatch fish when nobody else can.
