These eggs are now the only bait we use for bottom fishing or drifting under a bubble. They stay on the hook like nothing else. It is common to use the same eggs to catch several fish. We prefer the glitter orange and glitter chartreuse colors in the Central Sierra of CA. Durable enough for trolling, I add one to a piece of nightcrawler or use the eggs alone.

Since it floats, I've used it for trout fishing. I haven't caught anything with it yet, but today I only caught 2 fish. But I'm not giving up yet, I've still got all summer.

Use a #14 gold treble a foot or so below split shot(s). Two eggs will keep the hook floating and since trout are visual feeders a must.

I used the yellow. Put a red dot on it. Limit in 45 minutes. Need a carmel and a peach color. I added krill oil and brown sugar to jar to soak. The chartreuse added anise. That did it.
