I use power eggs more than using Powerbait when it comes to fishing for Trout. Even though you still have to use the paste from time to time i get more hook sets on eggs than i do the paste. The fish have the ability to return to your bait and hit it again without loosing the bait from the first strike.

We fish from a canoe, and on land, the fish seem to love it, if they are biting that is. The power bait is easy to put on any size hook, especially in a canoe. I've caught my largest trout 22" rainbow last summer using magnum power bait. I orginally purchased from a small bait store and used what I had, when I went back to purchase more it was out of stock, I was so delighted to find magnum power bait w/ sparkles at fish usa.com I have given away some but mostly keep it to myself. Makes a great gift for any person who loves catching trout.
