Decided to give these a try for our annual Trout fishing trip up to the North Georgia mountains. These were amazing! All I used the first three days was the Nickel-Gold. They went crazy for it. My line broke while reeling in yet another one, and I lost that lure. Was (obviously) disappointed, but decided to give the Gold-Red a try. Didn't seem to make a difference. They were tearing up that one too! We were there all week. Those are the only two lures I used, and I caught my limit every day with these... except one. They were barely hitting mine or my son's lures that particular day (He was using a Bluefox Classic Vibrax which worked well too), so we switched to a soft bait, which worked well for that day... then, back to these! Haven't tried the blue or watermelon colors yet, so can't tell you how they work. Anyway, hope this helps you land some nice ones. Happy fishing!

Bought these mostly for casting /trolling lakes in Western NC mountains. They work great. Caught an Appalachian slam (brown, brook, rainbow) on the first time out.
