FishUSA (www.FishUSA.com), an industry-leading global fishing equipment and tackle supply ecommerce retailer based in Pennsylvania, has announced its sponsorship of The Lake Erie Fishery initiative, a 12-month campaign that is supported by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division (DOW) of Wildlife and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission (GLFC). The yearlong effort has been created to bring additional awareness to the world class walleye fishing industry along Lake Erie in Ohio.
FishUSA’s Founder and Chairman, Dan Pastore, who launched the business from his garage in 2000 and has seen the company grow to national prominence in the fishing tackle industry, grew up on the Pennsylvania side of Lake Erie, and was eager to learn more when he first became aware of the campaign. “Walleye and Lake Erie fishing are tremendous drivers of our economy, and this partnership enables FishUSA to play a key role in sharing this message so that more anglers are aware of this world class regional gem.”
As part of the campaign, Sovereign Sportsman Solutions (S3), a leading provider of conservation technology and marketing solutions based in Nashville, Tennessee, in cooperation with the DOW and GLFC, is producing an informative short film promoting the fishery. The video was filmed near Port Clinton, Ohio and features Paul and Nicholas Zart, a father and son Charter Captain duo native to Ohio. It will be available for viewing at www.Powderhook.com beginning on September 21, 2022.
