FishUSA – headquartered near Erie, Pennsylvania – runs and maintains a massive, industry-leading, online fishing retail site, and we’re looking for qualified, passionate individuals to help us maintain our site and grow even more!

Every single product we sell needs added to our website and the eCommerce Production Associate handles all of that. From part numbers to descriptions to images, the eCom Production team is responsible for all the products customers see and read about on our website. There is never a dull moment in eCommerce Production, with new products coming in all the time. You always have different new products to work on, plus you will always be learning new things.

We are seeking to add a full-time or part-time individual in the role of eCommerce Production Associate at our facility located in Fairview, Pennsylvania. As an eCommerce Production Associate, you will organize, prepare, enter, and manage detailed product data, and prepare product images for a wide range of products offered through our online store. This entry-level, hourly position is primarily data entry, but it also provides an opportunity to show us your computer skills and creativity.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Entering detailed data, including part numbers, UPCs, dimensions, and pricing, into our web-based system to create new products in our online store.
2. Gathering information from product inspection, brand websites, print, and other sources to set up products and descriptions.
3. Taking photos and resizing images of our products using Adobe Photoshop.
4. Maintaining a high level of accuracy.
5. Updating data for current products.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to quickly and accurately enter and revise detailed product data.
• Ability to gather data and information from manufacturers and suppliers, including electronic and printed data sources, and enter it quickly and accurately.
• Excellent spelling and grammar.
• Ability to work on a computer for up to eight hours.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions, including web browsers, email, and keyboard shortcuts.
• Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A passion for fishing and the outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of sport fishing and fishing tackle.
• Basic knowledge of HTML.
• Knowledge of digital photography and the ability to manipulate and optimize product photos using Adobe Photoshop, or other digital editing software.
