I purchased the Chatterbait Mini in 1/8 oz because I needed a small bait to fish through the grass. It did an excellent job of catching saugeye in the grass. I have already purchased more.

I've never used a chatterbait and haven't fished freshwater in over 3 decades. Fished a small sale next to a hotel i was staying in. First cast, landed a tiny largemouth ( qst bass in over 30 years)! Caught a 2nd one three casts later. I ordered two more when I got home.

Good strikes, poor hookups.

Definitely attracts strikes but the blade "shades" the hook resulting in tenuous hookups. I might try adding a stinger hook.
