Great shallow water lure when trolling or casting. I changed hooks to a size up and noticed improvement with hook sets.

Multiple species

Have caught multiple trout over 18 inches in NM with this lure in small mountain lakes. I have also had success in Idaho on rivers mostly catching small mouth bass.

I was turned on to this bait by a sporting Goods owner.It is my go-to lure for Speckle Trout.You can fish it fast or slow.I usually give it a MEDIUM RETRIEVE with a few twitches and let it fall.Most of the hits will come in the fall, but also on the retrieve.I can also fish it like a jig as it is a slow sinker.I change out the hooks to a # 6 Black Nickle hook. Yozuri quit making this lure for about 3 years but they are making them again.I like the Blue back Silver sides and the Green back Silver sides.On December 28th, 2016 my partner and I caught 38 trout from 14 to 22 inches in five hours. It's a great all-purpose bait, any saltwater fish will hit it.
