Wapsi Foam Cylinders let you build high-floating, durable bodies for poppers, hoppers, ants, and extended-body dries that keep riding right after repeated eats from trout, bass, and panfish. High-density foam floats high and stands up to hit after hit, and the cylinders come on a rigid post that makes it easy to wrap hackle for parachute posts or shape clean segments for extended bodies. Barely noticeable spiral ridges give you the option to leave texture for grip and profile or sand them smooth, then sand into custom popper shapes for big topwater flies that draw pike and muskie. Cut each cylinder to length, then add your own finish with a waterproof marker for quick, on-the-bench color tweaks.

    I have ordered these cylinders from FishUSA before and am thrilled that they stock the colors and sizes I need. That being written, having the shipping be almost 40 percent of the final cost for a package that weighs an ounce and taking 4 days to travel less than 200 in-state mikes is the reason I check elsewhere before ordering. Sorry.

    Great Alternative for Mop Hopper...

    I bought these 1/8" cylinders to use on the mop hopper fly instead of the 'mop' part. Better buoyancy and no need to treat with a fly floatant.
