As others say they are tough to open sometimes. I also only order the 00 size now for my walleye fishing. I like these snaps compared to many others. I really dislike cheap made snaps that fail, these are not.

Size 00 is easy enough to open and close...

I agree with the other reviews... they are very good quality and STRONG. I felt the need to add that the size 00 only feels SLIGHTLY stiff to open and close, and is very usable for hot swapping lures out, and at 30 lb test rating is plenty strong enough for big walleyes.... but any size bigger than 00 is definitely too hard to be opening and closing more than once in a day. (like, break your thumbnail stiff) If 30 lbs is good enough for you, try the 00 size, they are usable, and you won't lose fish due to flimsy snaps.

Too hard to open

Love the shape of these for crankbaits. But so hard to open and don't want to be on the water fishing and going for a pair of needlenoose to get these open. Figure it out VMC, thanks.
