U-Charters Slide Divers are a new take on the standard diver design. These fully adjustable trolling sinkers rig with the mainline running through the body of the disc. That means when a fish strikes, the diver runs freely along the line with little to no resistance. Leader length is no longer restricted as the line can be locked in at any point allowing the angler to stretch the offering well behind the diver, which instantly releases at the lightest bite from a fish. As soon as the rod moves, remove it from the rod holder and reel in.

The Small #00 (SD00); 3 1/4 in. - Great for all species of freshwater gamefish, including walleye, lakers, steelhead, and salmon in shallow to mid-range depths.

The Standard #1 (SD1); 3 3/4 in. - Great for all larger species of freshwater gamefish, including walleye, lakers, steelhead, and salmon in mid to deep depths.

The Lite Bite #1 (SD1-LB); 3 3/4 in. - Like the Standard model, the Lite Bite has a mechanism that allows it to be clamped down anywhere on the fishing line. What sets the Lite Bite apart is an extra arm that instantly opens the release mechanism when a fish of any size hits. Properly adjusted, the Lite-Bite can handle everything from the smallest spoons and Walleye spinners to the largest flashers and cut bait set-ups. Lite-Bite model works well in areas where small fish are common catches during trips out for larger species. With the Lite Bite the days of towing perch, small walleye and trout are over.

Each package contains one diver, full rigging instructions, and rigging accessories including a bead, four pieces of vinyl tubing, and a barrel swivel.

The Slide Diver Lite Bite is the best planer device I have used to date. I use to be Dipsy guy but as soon as I gave these a try I haven't turned back. The added Lite Bite arm triggers the diver to release if a small perch or bass hits it so i dont drag them around for awhile not knowing there on. Fantastic Product and great customer service.

Like Dipsy divers they will take your lures down & out away from the boat, but they far exceed Dipsys in that you have the ability to move your lure far beyond the diver. That is, you may set your lures many feet or yards past where your diver is located in the water much the same as your ability when using downriggers. On strikes the slider releases everytime and does not interfer with the fight. When you want to pull your line the Slide divers release very easily everytime...no more broke rod tips. They are worth every cent..try them. Dave

THESE HAVE BEEN A GREAT TOOL FOR ME TO CATCH SALMON ON LAKE MICHIGAN. IF YOU RUN BRAIDED LINE YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS SO THE DIVER WON'T SLIP ON THE LINE. I AM ABLE TO RUN MY BAITS BACK AS FAR FROM THE DIVER AS I WANT TO KEEP FROM SPOOKING FISH. THEY ALWAYS HELP PRODUCE THE LARGEST FISH EVERY TRIP OUT.

I've always run dipsy divers on my boat when fishing for salmon and steelhead but I was not familiar with the Slide Diver product until I fished on a friend's boat. I quickly noticed the advantages with setup over a normal dipsy diver upon setting the the first line of the day. With the Slide Diver you can control the leader lengths; unlike traditional diver that are limited to a shorter fixed length. Having the ability to run 20, 30, 50 feet leaders provides a great advantage over traditional divers because it reduces the chance of the diver spooking the fish. I've added two Slide Divers to my tackle box and run them now in conjunction with my dipsy divers.

Like the concept of running on your main line and letting line out a ways then lock in the diver. When tripped will slide down to bead and swivel. This helps the diver set away from the lure or bait being fished. One of the areas we fish for Spring Chinook the Chinook are suspended and this should work great. Haven't got to try it yet on the lower Willamette River. I tried it on the river by the house for Spring Chinook but the area was a bit too shallow for the diver to work. The water I want to try using the diver is around 50 feet and the fish can be around 35 feet. That should work great.
