I finally decided to try this line after finally finding it. I got the 8lb in the 660yd spool. I put it on to spinning reels with little issues. Only because it was new line. The knot strength is best I've tried yet. Usually I can break like when I get snagged. This has been the only line I've had to cut in a long time. Definitely will be using this FC from now on. With extra on the spool it makes for a great leader tying to my braided line set up.

I have fished fluorocarbon since it hit the streams years ago. Trial and error set me on what I thought was the best available. I’ve used Seaguar for probably 20 years, in one form or another, with very good results. Yes, I’ve lost my fair share of Rainbows and Steelhead. But out of curiosity, I had to try Sunline FC Sniper. I purchased a filler spool of 6 lb last March and spooled it on one of my Finger Lakes rigs. On Monday, April 3rd, I hooked into a beautiful bow. After a noble battle I bought the 29” male to net. Somewhere around 10 pounds, give or take. Increased my felt hits and hook sets all last Spring. A very good season! Rocks, sticks, roots, heavy current and wild fish…..this line is straight up tough! And super sensitive. I love this line. It almost seems unfair. Can’t wait to use it for late Fall Browns and Bows, and Winter Steelhead up North on the Ontario trips. Reasonably priced also.

My go-to fluorocarbon. I spool this up on my baitcasters and it works great. Great sensitivity, great strength, and great castability! What I have left over from spooling my reel I use to tie up leaders attached to braid. Also works great for tieing up worm harnesses!
