    Very nice rod that sadly arrived broken. I’d seen other reviews mentioning this so when I contacted the company I suggested they start using pool noodles to protect rods in shipment. Service was great though, original shipped quickly and they quickly replaced rod upon my sending pictures of broken one. Replacement arrived intact.

    St. Croix does have quality rods in their lineup of fishing rods, but the panfish model is not one of them in my opinion for the cost. I had two of these rods and broke one on a hook set. I gave the other rod away. Look at their other line of spinning rods and you will be money ahead.

    I finally received my St. Croix rod. Sending a rod with USPS does not work. They have small jeeps that are too small. So what does the USPS do, they push the rod box in, breaking the box and rod. FishUSA did everything right, they should switch carriers to FedX or UPS because USPS can't get it right!
