Misunderstood Case Sizing

These cases only fit 1 rod broken down in half. I read the reviews before buying to make sure it fits both of my surf rods, it doesn't. People said the case came with two sleeves which is true, but that didn't mean it fit two rods. I have a 10' shimano it fits well, but it won't fit two surf rods. The guides won't make it happen. Nonetheless, the construction of this case is top tier. Very light, slim, heavy duty. If you're looking to travel out of state on an airplane with two rods, you need to buy two cases. 4/5 stars, just needed to be an inch wider.

I have had my St Croix bass rod for about 30 years. It never had a travel case, just an oversized sock. Getting into fly fishing and having built a delicate little rod, I thought that it surely needed a case, and when I looked in my rod storage closet, there sat my favorite rod, without a case. So the story ends with Fish USA and my beautiful new case. By the way, the rod fits perfectly, and I love the oval shape. No more rolling off tables, or trucks, and the huge rear guide nestles nicely in the case.
